The Red Raiders scored the game's first two goals and the contest's final two goals to keep the Dutchwomen winless in ECAC Division I league. Colgate jumped out to a 2-0 lead on tallies by Becky Irvine netted power play tallies in each of the first two periods, her eighth and ninth of the season.

Elise Nichols' fourth goal of the year, an unassisted tally, brought Union back to within 2-1 entering the final period. Allison Paiano's gave Colgate a two-goal margin, 3-1, with a power play tally and Ashley Johnston rounded out the final margin of victory with her second of the season.

Lauren Carlson had 34 saves for Union while Brook Wheeler turned back 14 shots for the Red Raiders.
