Schenectady, NYNicole Corriero had six points, including a hat trick in the first period, to lead Harvard in scoring as the third-ranked Crimsonhanded Union College a 11-0 defeat at Frank L. Messa Rink. Harvard improves to 2-0-0, 2-0-0 ECAC, scoring 24 goals in its first two games. The Dutchwomen drop to 2-4-0, 0-2-0 with the loss.

Jennifer Raimondi turned in a goal and an assist, Jennifer Skinner had a goal and three helpers, and Carrie Schroyer finished with three assists in the win. Caitlin Cahow scored her first collegiate goal, and added an assist in the win.

Corriero put Harvard on the board 57 seconds into the contest with assists from Skinner and Schroyer. Jennifer Sifers scored her second goal of the young season at 2:38. Cahow and Skinner assisted on the goal. Raimondi made it 3-0 in favor of Harvard at 3:55. Corriero notched her second goal of the period at 6:13 when the Crimson were skating on the power play and Skinner gave Harvard a five-goal cushion at 12:16. Corriero capped off the first period scoring, and a hat trick, at 19:09.

Cahow and Crum scored for Harvard in the second period. Banfield opened the third period with a shorthanded goal at 5:50. Sweet made it 10-0 with a goal at 9:16 and Lauren McAuliffe closed out the scoring with a power play goal at 19:12.

The Crimson finished the game 2-for-5 on the power play. Union was 0-for-7. Harvard held a 55-9 edge in shots. Emily Vitt stopped all nine shots in her collegiate debut. Lauren Carlson played the first period in goal for Union, posting 14 saves and taking the loss. Dana Smullyan came in to close out the game, stopping 30 shots over the final two periods.
