Scordato hits 4-of-4 3-pointers to lift Dutchmen

SCHENECTADY, NY Sophomore forward Brian Scordato (Horace Greeley/Mt. Kisco, NY) scored a game-high 15 points and sophomore guard John Cagianello (Loomis Chafee/Wethersfield, CT) contributed 13 to pace the Union College mens basketball team to an 84-59 victory over Hartwick College on Saturday.

Union (4-1), which took a 45-23 lead at halftime, led, 82-49, with 3:56 remaining in the second half.

Scordato made all four of his 3-point field goal attempts and grabbed five rebounds in 18 minutes of action. Cagianello went 5-for-10 from the floor and hit two 3-pointers for the Dutchmen.
