SALEM, MA--Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts scored on a free kick in the first half and held on to defeat the Dutchmen, 1-0.  The loss spoiled a brilliant performance by the Dutchmen's defense, which allowed the hosts just two shots on goal.

The loss dropped the Dutchmen's overall record to 5-4 with all four setbacks coming by the score of 1-0.

Junior Matt Mayerhofer made his second career start in goal in place of classmate Kevin O'Connor, who was injured in Saturday's 4-3 win at Hobart.  Union finished with a 16-4 overall shot advantage and held a 5-4 edge in corner kicks.
