SCHENECTADY, N.Y.Tricia Erickson  scored a pair of unassisted goals and Kelly Proper and Ashley Smith each found the back of the net once as New Paltz defeated Union, 4-3, in a non-league field hockey game on Bailey Field.

The loss dropped the Dutchwomen to 1-7 overall.

Jessica Trotter had two goals for Union, her fourth and fifth of the season, while Hillary Benoit scored once for her second goal of the year.  Emily French picked up her third and fourth assists of the campaign.
