Freshman midfielder Nick Mastine led the Saints with four goals and one assist in a lopsided 13-4 over Union College in their first Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association league game this season. The Saints improve to a 4-2 overall record and are 1-0 in the UCAA while Union falls to 1-5 and 0-1.

Mastine connected on a pass from Josh Feine for the first goal of the game. From that point the Saints went on to score the next six goals. It wasn't until halfway through the second quarter that Union was able to get on the board with a shot from Andy West. Union managed to come back with two more to make the halftime score 7-3.

Union's Scott Snyder gave his team one more goal before the Saints went on to score four in the third and two in fourth to close the game.

Andy Centauro had three for the Saints. Alex Moore and Pete Dolan each recorded two goals while Feine and Brendan Lynch both tallied one. Justin Demuth was in the nets for the Saint and made13 saves.

Bryan Bendjy and Dan Myerow also scored for Union as Will Tamm made 18 saves on the night.
