The win improved the Dutchwomen's conference record to 3-0, 5-2 overall, while the Saints fell to 1-3 in the UCAA and 2-4 overall.
Dolezal, who earlier in the week was named the UCAA's co-Offensive Player of the Week, leads the Dutchwomen with her 20 goals scored and is second to Flanagan (who has 19 goals, eight assists and 27 points) on the team's overall scoring chart with 24 points. The junior attack woman from Clearwater, Florida, picked up her second game-winning goal of the year when she found the back of the net with one second left in the first half to give the Dutchwomen a 7-3 halftime advantage.
Samantha Bealer's tally with 10:37 left in the opening half gave the Saints a 2-2 tie before the Dutchwomen rattled off the next four scores to take a 6-2 advantage that would decide the outcome. Flanagan started the run at 10:06 and found the back of the net again with 8:10 remaining. Dolezal and Julia Davis scored with 7:16 and 4:45 showing, respectively.
Union's Corinne Hennessy and SLU's Leah Yandow traded goals to open the second half before Dolezal started the Dutchwomen on a 6-0 tear with 22:11 left to play. She had three of her goals during the run.
Sophomore goaltender Rachel Beckman finished with nine saves for Union while Rebecca Timbers and Ali Mattison combined for a 14-save performance.
