WELLINGTON, FL -- Seniors Molly Flanagan (Simsbury, CT/Loomis Chaffee) and Kathy Dolezal (Clearwater, FL/Williston Northampton) combined for nine goals to lead Union to a 13-6 women's lacrosse victory over Nazareth at Wellington Village Park Tuesday.

Flanagan scored five goals and Dolezal tallied four times for the Dutchwomen, now 1-1 on the young season. Freshman Caitlin Cuozzo (Norfolk, MA/King Phillip Regional) scored twice for Union, while Alexandra Toney (Bayville/Locust Valley) and Erin Lawson (Flourtown, PA/Springside) added one goal each in the victory.

Junior goalkeeper Rachel Beckman (Needham, MA/Needham) made eight saves for Union, including three solid stops early in the contest to set the tone for the victors. Union had 22 shots on the Golden Flyers' net during the game.

Union returns to New York State this week and will open up Liberty League play Friday at Rensselaer at 4 p.m.
