TAMPA, FL -- Union's men's lacrosse team ended a spring break week in Florida with an 11-3 loss to Williams Friday.

The Dutchmen fell to 3-4 on the season while the Ephmen improved to 3-1.

Williams jumped out to a 3-0 first period lead and scored five times in the second stanza en route to the victory. Union had two goals from Mike Sparico (Riverside, CT/Greenwich) and Dan Myerow (Sudbury, MA/Lincoln-Sudbury) assisted on two tallies.

Bill Condon (West Hartford/Conard) scored the other goal for the Dutchmen, and Pete Gross (Larchmont/Salisbury) added an assist. Rob Oram (New Canaan, CT/New Canaan) made 11 saves in the nets for the Dutchmen.

Union returns to action on Thursday, March 31, as the Dutchmen will make up a game at Oswego at 4 p.m. The contest was originally scheduled for March 8 but was postponed. Union will be at home on Saturday, April 2 to host St. Lawerence in the Liberty League opener at 1 p.m.
