SPRINGFIELD, MA -- The Union men's lacrosse team lost at Western New England, 14-5 Saturday to fall to 1-2 on the season.

C.J. Annunciata led the hosts with four goals and Pat Matthews had two goals and an assist for three points. WNE outshot the Dutchmen, 43-24 on the day. Chris Body made 11 saves in the WNE nets.

Dan Myerow (Sudbury, MA/Lincoln-Sudbury) led the Dutchmen with four points, coming on a goal and three assists. Andy West (Salem, NH/Derryfield) scored twice for Union. Will Tamm (Millbrook/Lawrenceville) played in the nets for the first half and stopped 10 WNE shots, while Rob Oram (New Canaan, CT/New Canaan) also made 10 saves in 30 minutes while playing in the second half.

Union is scheduled to play Oswego at Liverpool High School on March 8.
