UTICA, N.Y. -- Junior forward Jessica Trotter (St. Louis, MO/Burroughs) scored two goals but Union College lost at Utica, 6-3, in field hockey action Wednesday night.

The Dutchwomen (2-4) fell behind 3-0 in the first seven minutes, but fought their way back and held Utica to one goal in the second half.

Union's other score came from senior forward Kristin Murphy (Branford, CT/Branford). Three different Dutchwomen had assists on the night, Katie Bellucci (Pawling, NY/Pawling), Anne Hanson (White River Junction, VT/Hartford) and Hillary Benoit (Sudbury, MA/Lincoln Sudbury).

The Dutchwomen are home for Liberty League games Friday at 4 p.m. against Hamilton and 2 p.m. Saturday vs. St. Lawrence.
