GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Union College jumped out to a 3-0 halftime lead en route to a 4-0 women's soccer victory over Greensboro College in the second day of the Guilford Labor Day Classic Tournament at Guilford College Sunday.

Senior midfielder Marissa VanWoeart (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) scored a goal and added an assist for the Dutchwomen. Other goal scorers for Union were Chelsea Hargis (East Lyme, CT/East Lyme), Cassandra Mariani (Boonton, NJ/Morris Catholic) and Caitlin Cuozzo (Norfolk, MA/King Phillip Regional).

Julie Gawronski (Dunkirk, NY/Dunkirk) and Kaitlin Graham (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) were called up on to make just two saves in net. Union outshot Greensboro, 18-2 on the day.

The Dutchwomen, 2-0, return to action next weekend. Union will play Elmira Saturday in the William Smith Tournament, and will face Gettysburg in the tourney on Sunday. The home opener for Union is September 14 vs. Utica.
