ONEONTA, NY -- The Union women's soccer team improved to 8-2-3 with a 1-0 non league victory at Hartwick Saturday afternoon. Jenna Ondash (New Canaan, CT/New Canaan) scored the eventual game-winner for the Dutchwomen.

The Hawks fell to 4-11 after the loss. Union got on the board in the 32nd minute when Ondash scored on a Caitlin Cuozzo (Norfolk, MA/King Phillip Regional) helper when the ball could not be cleared off the line from a Hartwick defender.

Union outshot the hosts, 23-3, but Ashley Taylor made 11 saves for the hosts. Mia Simone (Rexford, NY/Academy of the Holy Names) stopped two shots.

The Dutchwomen play at Utica for a non league match on October 17 at 4 p.m.
