WILLIAMSTOWN, MA -- Freshman Katie Weinstein (Marblehead, MA/ Marblehead) scored with just under 15 minutes remaining in regulation as Union tied Williams, 1-1, in a women's soccer non-league game Sunday afternoon. The Dutchwomen are now 1-1-1 on the season.

Weinstein got a pass from Jessica Dolbeare (Lynnfield, MA/Lynnfield) and knotted the game at 75:27. Ana Sani gave the Ephs the lead when she converted a penalty kick at 14:50.

Mia Simone (Rexford, NY/Academy of the Holy Names) made 11 saves in 110 minutes (including overtime). Sarah Ginsburg made eight stops for Williams. The Ephs outshot the Dutchwomen, 15-10 and both teams had two corners.

This contest was the first of three consecutive road games for Union, which plays at Rochester Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
