SCHENECTADY, NY –Led by two goals from junior Mary Kate Oakley, the 10th-ranked Princeton Tigers defeated the Union College Dutchwomen, 5-0 in ECAC Hockey League action at Messa Rink Sunday afternoon. Senior

Ashley Kilstein (Cherry Hill, NJ) led the Dutchwomen with two shots each.
Princeton senior captain Laura Watt opened the scoring for the Tigers (12-9-2, 10-5-1 ECACHL) at the 5:55 mar with a slapshot from the left circle that beat Union goaltender
Mandy Hanson (Brainerd, MN). Princeton took a 2-0 lead on the power-play at 12:47 with an Oakley wrist shot that sailed into the open net from a nice pass from sophomore Katherine Dineen.
Oakley scored her second goal, an even strength goal at 5:37 of the second period. Oakley skated into the slot where Hanson was screened and beat the goaltender with another wrist shot that went passed the goaltender in the five-hole.
The Tigers added a pair of scores in the third period as Brittany Salmon picked up her sixth goal of the season at 5:21 of the final frame, and Dina McCumber added a power-play tally less than four minutes later.
Hanson made 45 stops for Union (4-16-0, 0-12-0 ECACHL) in net while Princeton goalie Kristen Young stopped all 10 Dutchwomen shots for her second shutout of the season.
The Dutchwomen take to the road next weekend as they play host Clarkson in a 7:00 pm ECACHL game Friday night.
