GENESEO, NY – A pair of early goals carried the 17th-ranked Union College women's soccer team to a 2-0 win at Geneseo Saturday. The Dutchwomen (15-3, 5-2 Liberty League) close out the regular season on a seven-game winning streak.
Allison Cuozzo (Norfolk, MA) registered a goal and an assist in the game, putting Union on the board in the 11
th minute with a breakaway from a pass by
Rachel Schneidman (Chappaqua, NY).
She then connected with a pass across the box to
Caitlin Cuozzo (Norfolk, MA) in the 15
th minute to give the Dutchwomen the 2-0 lead.

Melissa McDonald (Lynnfield, MA) made three saves in her seventh shutout of the season. Laura Kastor made five saves in the first half, while Katie Clerkin stopped one shot in the second frame.
The Dutchwomen are back in action at the Liberty League tournament on Friday, November 2, at William Smith. The third-seeded Dutchwomen will take on second-seeded Hamilton at 1:30 p.m.
