SCHENECTADY, NY – Junior midfielder Nicole Tetreault scored five goals and added two assists to lead Hamilton to a 13-6 win over Union at Frank Bailey Field Friday afternoon. The Continentals improved to 6-2 overall and 3-0 in Liberty League play while the Dutchwomen, ranked #19 in the latest Laxpower.com poll, fell to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in the league.
Senior attack Suzy Belmont scored three goals and sophomore attack Kaillie Briscoe scored two goals with two assists for Hamilton. Liz Longley added a goal and two assists for the victors.

Stephanie Cronan (Marblehead, MA/Marblehead) led Union with two goals and two assists, while senior
Allie Toney (Bayville, NY/Locust Valley) had two goals for the Dutchwomen. Union had single goals by freshman
Keelin Skurek (Massillon, NY/Western Reserve Academy) and
Liz Zamore (South Hero, VT/Essex).
Union had a 31-24 shot advantage on the day, while also posting an advantage in ground balls, 21-16. The Continentals converted three of four free position shots and won 11 draw controls.
The teams were tied at 2-2 after Union's Zamore scored with 24:18 remaining in the first half. Hamilton then scored the next five tallies, featuring two by Tetreault, and took a 7-2 lead with 6:47 left on a Briscoe goal assisted by Tetreault. Toney tallied at 5:37 and after Longley made it 8-3 Hamilton, Cronan scored the final goal of the first half with 2:03 left to make it 8-4 at halftime.The Continentals opened up the game for good with three goals in a span of 2:15 for an 11-4 lead in the second half.

The Dutchwomen host the University of Rochester for a Liberty League game Saturday at 2 p.m.
