SCHENECTADY, NY – Senior guard
Devon Ciliberto (New Paltz, NY) scored 16 points and added three steals as Union defeated Liberty League rival Clarkson, 65-45 Saturday at the Viniar Athletic Center. The Dutchwomen, winners of four of the last five, now stand 6-4 in league play and 12-8 overall. The Golden Knights fell to 1-9 in the league and 3-18 overall.

Rachel Ormsby (Charlton, NY) had 10 points and sophomore guard
Rachel Titcomb (Henniker, NH) added eight with five rebounds for Union. The Dutchwomen shot 40% and forced 24 Clarkson turnovers, while posting a 43-30 rebounding advantage. Union finished with 15 steals and 10 of the 12 Dutchwomen scored.
Clarkson was led by sophomore forward Michelle Reddinger (Baldwinsville, NY), who had a team high 13 points with three steals. Lauren Pluchino (Liverpool, NY) and Rachel Whitermore (Holliston, MA) had six rebounds each for the Golden Knights, who shot 33% on the day.
The Dutchwomen scored the first 15 points of the game and held Clarkson scoreless Pluchino made a layup with 13:18 left in the first half.
Union led 34-20 at halftime and led by as many as 16 late in the first half. The Knights got as close as nine in the second half at 38-29 with 14:17 remaining. But the Dutchwomen went on a 14-2 run in the next 4:22, featuring four points each by Ciliberto and Ormsby.
Union hosts RPI on Friday, February 15 at 6 p.m., while Clarkson hosts Hamilton Friday at 6 p.m.
