ROCHESTER, NY – Senior goalkeeper
Rob Kramer turned away five shots for his second shutout of the season and helped guide the Dutchmen soccer team to a 0-0 overtime draw at Nazareth on Saturday. Union has not allowed a goal in 207:39 and now stands with a 3-1-1 record. Nazareth goes to 1-3-1.
The senior goalkeeper came up big in the 74th minute by getting the better of junior midfielder Chris Lofgren in a penalty kick situation.
In overtime, Kramer kept the Flyers off the board with a save on a shot by junior defender Mohammed Ahemed at 103:03. Nazareth's only other chance in the extra minutes came at 108:55 when freshman forward Andrew Alaimo shot wide.
Nazareth goalkeeper Ryan Platt was equally up to the task making eight saves. However, it was a team save at 60:23 on a shot by junior midfielder

Union held the advantage in shots (14-10) and corner kicks (6-2).
The Dutchmen return to the pitch on Tuesday, Sept. 16 for a 4 p.m. match at Southern Vermont.
