Chelsea Hargis (East Lyme, CT) had three assists in the Dutchwomen's 4-0 soccer victory at Mount Holyoke Saturday. Union improves to 5-1-1, while Mount Holyoke goes to 1-5-0.

Abby Stohler (West Hartford, CT) turned aside seven shots for her second win of the season and first shutout.
Union capitalized within a 10 minute span from the 12
th minute until the 21
st minute when it produced three of its four goals. Junior midfielder
Katie Weinstein (Marblehead, MA) had the game's first marker at 12:14 off of a corner by Hargis.
Hargis set up Strang for the second goal at 16:45 with a deep pass. Strang dribbled around goalkeeper Elaine Harvey and shot into the open net.
The two-headed attack of Hargis and Strang struck again at 21:32. This time Strang headed a pass off a corner into the net. Strang now leads the team with eight points and is tied for the team lead with three goals.

Julie Silverman (
Fox Chapel, PA) scored her first career goal with a tally at 81:54. She collected a loose ball after a free kick and lofted it over the keeper's head.
Union returns to action Friday, Sept. 26 for the Liberty League opener against Vassar. The match will be played at College Park at 4 p.m.
