SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – On their last game at College Park, three seniors each scored a goal as the Union College women's soccer team defeated Elms College 9-0 on a cold Friday evening.
The Dutchwomen got off to a quick start. Two minutes into the game Weinstein got the game started after a blocked save by Blazers goalkeeper Molly Corse the ball bounced to Weinstein where she knocked the ball into the goal.
In the 14th minute, junior
Katie McLean extended her team-leading goal to nine when Germain found McLean midfield and the forward was able to dribble the ball to the goal and her shot to the left found the net and gave the Dutchwomen a 2-0 lead.
Germain helped her fellow senior Cuozzo in the 27th minute when her cross pass to Cuozzo, who one-touched the ball to the goal and extend Union's lead to three.
Germain's three goals came in the span of 32 minutes. She scored the first goal in the 28th minute when a pass by Schneidman bounced on the left side of the goal box and Germain knocked the ball to the post and into the net.
