Jason Walters looks to extend his scoring streak to 10 games as the Union College men's ice hockey team travels to Army on Saturday for its final non-conference regular season game, which is scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m. The Dutchmen are coming off a 7-0 victory at UConn and will be playing in their third game in five days.

After producing five points (2g-3a) in the first eight games, senior forward Jason Walters has come alive with 15 points (7g-8a) in his last nine outings. His nine-game scoring streak is the longest of the season for any Dutchman and the longest of his career. For the year, Walters has registered nine goals and 11 assists for 20 points – second on the team.
Walters is only five points away from becoming the fourth Dutchmen in school history to record 100 points. He has produced 95 points with 35 goals and 60 assists. Only Jordan Webb (114), Chris Ford (104) and Joel Beal (101) have more career points.
For his career, the Dutchmen are 17-9-4, when Walters scores a goal, which isn't the most impressive mark by a Union player. Junior Stephane Boileau has led Union to a 17-3-1 record when scoring and junior Adam Presizniuk has seen the Dutchmen go 18-7-3 when he has a goal. Senior Mario Valery-Trabucco, the team's leading scorer with 10 goals has given Union the best chance to win with a 24-8-4 record when he has scored.
After Saturday's game, the Dutchmen remain on the road when they go to ECAC Hockey foe Princeton on Friday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m. A contest at first-place Quinnipiac follows on Saturday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m.
