SCHENECTADY, NY -- The Union College women's basketball team rallied in the second half for a 76-67 victory against Liberty League foe Clarkson on Saturday afternoon in the Viniar Athletics Center. The victory moved the Dutchwomen's winning streak to four games as they improve to 4-1 in league play and 6-9 overall. Clarkson moves to 0-5 in conference action and 3-12 on the year.
Union trailed by seven (45-38) at 14:04 of the second half, but followed with a steady 10-2 run to claim at 48-47 lead thanks to a jumper by senior guard

Clarkson senior forward Michelle Reddinger gave the Golden Knights a 49-48 lead at 9:44 with a move to the hoop. The Dutchwomen responded with a 9-0 run to take a 57-49 lead with seven minutes remaining.

Leah Pepe gave Union its largest lead of the game, 69-55, with 2:01 remaining.
Pepe paced the Dutchwomen with a game- and career-high 24 points and six steals. Sophomore guard

Megan Clark dominated the glass, pulling down six boards each.
Clarkson was led by Reddinger's 22 points and game-high 13 rebounds, including 10 defensive boards. Junior forward Lauren Pluchino and sophomore guard Carey Turner and both finished in double digits with 18 and 15 points, respectively.
The Dutchwomen were without their leading scorer, junior
Lauren McCormick, who sustained an injury in Friday night's 61-48 win against St. Lawrence.
The Dutchwomen hit the road for five straight contests, beginning on Friday, Jan. 29 with a 6 p.m. contest at RPI.
