The Saints, who lost the suspended game 6-5 when Union came up with a run in the top of the 15th and the Saints couldn't answer in the bottom of the inning, came back to win game one of Sunday's doubleheader 4-3 playing as the visiting team on its home field in day two of the Liberty League series.

St. Lawrence scored all four of its runs in the top of the fourth against Phil Kemp, who followed up a relief win in the continued game with the start in game three of the weekend series.

Carter Franz began the inning with a double to right and moved to third on Ryan Duff's single. Matt D'Auteuil walked to load the bases and after Kemp got an out with a strikeout, Tim Harris plated the first run of the game with a fielder's choice. Paul Piatelli then singled to left to drive in two runs, stole second and third and scored when Ryan Fedo reached on an error.

Pat Considine kept Union at bay on two hits through five, but the Dutchmen got one run back, unearned, on Dylan Katz-Wicks' single in the bottom of the fifth and made it close with two in the bottom of the seventh as Peter Mugford hit a two run single before Considine was able to close it out. The Saint sophomore allowed four hits and struck out ten, improving to 2-0 on the season.

Union jumped out to a 4-0 lead in Sunday's game two with two runs in both the bottom of the first and bottom of the second against Saint starter Zach Slater. The Saints got two runs back in the top of the third as two runs scored on an error and tied it with two in the top of the sixth when  Considine blasted a two-run homer to left field.

The Dutchmen went back in front 5-4 with a run in the bottom of the sixth on Paul Mene's single, but the Saints put together a big top of the seventh for the win. With one out, Matt DeLuca walked and Tim Harris lashed a single into left which was misplayed. Pinch runner Tom Pasquali scored on the hit and Harris went to second on the error. Pitcher Andy Brown got the second out of the inning on a strikeout, but Considine reached on an error with Harris scoring. Considine then stole second, moved to third on a passed ball and scored on another passed ball to give the Saints a two run lead at 7-5. Kirk Shimkin then homered to left to make it 8-5 and a single by Ethan Braddock and a double by Bryan Brennan plated the ninth run.

Kyle Donaldson pitched two and a third innings for his third win of the season as the Saints improved to 12-9 overall and 7-5 in Liberty League play.

In the resumption of the suspended game from Saturday, the Saints ran out of comebacks as the game resumed with the teams tied at 5-5 and Union coming to bat in the top of the 15th. Union's John Moore led off the inning with a grounder to short and the throw pulled the first baseman off the bag to start the game winning rally. Jarid Hotaling's sacrifice bunt was misplayed at first base to send Moore to third and Katz-Wick's fly ball to left field was misplayed for an error, scoring Moore to make it a 6-5 game. While Jason Conde worked out of the inning without further damage, the Saints could not mount another rally to keep the game alive.

Kemp came in to pitch and while he walked Ethan Braddock to open the bottom of the 15th, he struck out Tom Pasquali and then took Paul Piatelli's comebacker to the mound and started a game-ending double play.

Union built a 2-0 lead through seven in the game as Dom Calistro singled home a run in the first and reached on an error after striking out in the top of the seventh, eventually scoring on a sacrifice fly. The Saints cut it to 2-1 in the bottom of the eighth as Kirk Shimkin opened the inning with a pinch hit single and Pasquale, who entered the game as a pinch runner, scored on Carter Franz' sacrifice fly. The Saints tied the game in the bottom of the ninth as Matt DeLuca led off with a single and pinch runner Taylor Engle scored on Ethan Braddock's single to center.

Union went ahead with a run in the top of the 11th as Calistro singled to right to drive in the run, but the Saints tied it again against Union starter Seth Roberts as Matt D'Auteuil walked, pinch hitter Jeff Kott sacrificed him to second and Tim Harris doubled home the run. Union went up 5-3 with two in the top of the 14th on a double St. Lawrence errors gave Union College the lead in the top of the 15th inning and the Saints ran out of by Anthony Cassese and Emmanuel Fabre's single to center, but the Saints came back again in the bottom of the inning to tie it at 5-5. Pasquali singled and went to second on a wild pitch, scoring on Piatelli's double to left and Piatelli scored when Franz singled to second. Franz was caught trying to take second and while Ryan Duff doubled to left to keep the inning alive and a pair of walks loaded the bases, Robert Carman's liner to left was caught to end the inning and the game was suspended due to darkness at that point.

Saint starter Sean Voss went ten innings, allowing one earned run and striking out eight with no walks while Union's Roberts pitched into the 11th, allowing three earned runs and striking out six. Conde went four, allowing three runs, but just one earned, and took the loss while Kemp was the winner with his one inning or work on Sunday in relief of Jeremy LeFebvre, who worked 3.2 innings, allowing two runs, both earned.
