>> About Union
The Dutchmen own the nations top defensive unit, ranking first nationally for scoring defense (5.64) and fourth for man-down defense (0.872). Sophomore netminder and All-America candidate Sean Aaron, who is a win away from setting Union's all-time record for wins in a season, is the center point for the unit and he is the country's leader for both goals-against average (5.34) and save percentage (.717).

In front of Aaron is junior Derek Witheford, who leads the team with 44 groundballs and 19 caused turnovers. Witheford has helped the Dutchmen defense to five or fewer goals eight times this season.

Offensively, Union is led by junior Brendan Kinnane's 40 points, including 20 goals and a team-high 20 assists. Kinnane has netted three game-winners and five man-up goals this season. Right behind him is sophomore Ted McKenna, who has netted a team-best 22 goals, including four game-winning tallies.

>> About Skidmore
The Thoroughbreds fought their way into the postseason, winning three straight contests, including, most recently, a 10-6 win at Clarkson on May 1 to clinch the third seed in the tournament. The three-game winning streak marks the second time this season Skidmore has had such a run. The team opened the season with three consecutive wins.

Senior Cory Barkoff is the team's leading scorer with 30 goals, 25 assists and a team-high 55 points. He is the reigning Liberty League Co-Offensive Performer of the Week. Defensively, senior Scott Grillo has caused the most turnovers with 21 and collected the most groundballs with 52.

In goal, senior Flip Bongaerts has posted a 7.64 goals-against average in 13 games. He maintains a .558 save percentage, facing a total of 380 shots in the regular season.
