ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Junior forward Marc Zeyak and sophomore forward Sahr Nyuma both scored to help the Union College men's soccer team to a 2-0 win at Bard College.

With the win, the Dutchmen improved to 7-1-1 on the season, while Bard fell to 3-6.

Union got on the scoreboard early in the second half on Zeyak's first goal of the season. The eventual game-winner came on a nice short lobbed pass from senior forward John Manna, who sent the ball from one side of the box to the other to Zeyak, who blasted it on a full volley at 48:30 to give the Dutchmen a 1-0 lead.

Union would increase its lead late in the game capitalizing on a Bard turnover in their own end. Freshman forward Jake Soodek made a nice pass to Nyuma, who touched the ball past the onrushing goalie, and inside the far post for a 2-0 advantage.

The Dutchmen outshot Bard 20-2 for the match, including eight shots on net.

Union will host William Paterson University at College Park in its next contest on Oct. 2 at 2:00 p.m.
