ALBANY, NY -- The Union College men's ice hockey team took part in the 51st Center for Disability Services Telethon at the Holiday Inn Albany on Wolf Road and helped bring in approximately 1.96 million dollars at the close of the live broadcast on WXXA/Fox 23.
After a weekend sweep of No. 1 Yale and Brown at Messa Rink, the Dutchmen were back in their uniforms on Sunday, answering phone calls from donors from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The telethon raises funds to further the Center for Disability Services mission to enable and empower people, primarily those with disabilities, to lead healthy and enriched lives.
