SCHENECTADY, NY -- Kelsey Kimble scored a goal and added three assists, all in the second half, to lead Hartwick to a come from behind 5-2 field hockey victory over Union in a non-league game at Frank Bailey Field Tuesday. The Hawks improved to 6-6 on the season while the Dutchwomen fell to 2-10.
Union had a 16-15 shot advantage on the day, and also had a corner advantage of eight to seven. Union freshman goaltender
Corey Hedges, in her fourth apperance of the season, made seven saves. Megan Campbell made eight stops for the Hawks in over 66 minutes of play, whiel Devyn Staley came in for action and did not make a save in just under four minutes.

Darcy Berger opened the scoring for the Dutchwomen with her third of the season just 3:20 into the contest.
Isabel Zellweger's blasted a shot and Berger picked up the rebound through the crowd for the 1-0 lead.

Isabel Zellweger notched her eighth of the year for a 2-0 lead.
Ali Flake took the corner to the right of the Hawks cage and dished directly to Zellweger, who blasted it in from 10 yards out. With 12:03 remaining, Hartwick goalie Megan Campbell made a diving mid air stick save to her right off a
Caroline Moran shot.
Hartwick got on the board at 45:17 when Kimble passed across the net to an open Alicia Flewelling to the goalie's left post. Just 21 seconds later, the Hawks tied it with the same players and the same play. Hartwick took a 3-2 lead with 22:28 left to play in the second half. Hillary Carlson tucked in a shot after a pass from Kimble, her third assist of the half.
The Hawks added insurance when Kimble broke in alone and notched her 4th of the year at 56:43. At 61:47, Brittany Baughman tallied her second of the year with a pass from Megan Lefeber. The shot was a redirected and made it 5-2 Hawks, the eventual final.
The Dutchwomen, who have five regular season games remaining (all at home), host Liberty League rival University of Rochester Saturday at 4 p.m. Hartwick hosts Utica for an Empire 8 game Saturday at 12 p.m.
