Kevin Sullivan each had a goal and an assist as No. 9 Union men's ice hockey (7-3-5, 3-2-2 ECAC Hockey) skated to a 3-3 tie at Princeton (4-7-2, 3-5-1 ECAC Hockey) in front of 1,896 fans at Hobey Baker Rink.
Princeton's Jack Berger scored twice in the third period to help the Tigers rally from a three-goal deficit in the third period.
Princeton's Andrew Ammon started the rally by jamming in a rebound at 2:21 to cut Union's lead to 3-1. The Tigers would pull to within a goal on Berger's goal from the high slot at 9:54 of the third period.
Berger scored at 18:46 on a wrist shot over Stevens' glove to cap the rally. Each team had two shots in overtime.
Princeton outshot Union 14-2 in the third period and held a 31-17 shot advantage for the game.
The Dutchmen scored two first period goals, continuing a trend of strong opening periods. Freshman forward

Welsh kept a fluttering puck in at the blue line and fed to Sullivan, who found Mingoia alone in the slot. Mingoia finished over the shoulder of Bonar to give the Dutchmen a 1-0 lead at 10:37 of the first period.
Just over two minutes later, Yanovitch struck for the second time in as many nights. Yanovitch took a pass from freshman forward
Mark Bennett and skated down the middle into open ice in the Princeton zone. Yanovitch cut to his backhand and beat Bonar between the pads at 13:00 to put Union up 2-0.
Welsh gave Union a 3-0 lead with his team leading 11
th goal of the season at 10:07 of the second period. Sullivan skated into the Union zone and found Welsh all alone near the circle after a Princeton defenseman fell down. Welsh fired into the top corner over the glove of Bonar to move into 10
th on the school's all-time scoring list with 37 career goals.
Union finished the game 0-for-2 with the man advantage while holding Princeton scoreless on five power play chances.
The Dutchmen will take on RPI next Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at in the Festivus Faceoff at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, NY.
