Dutchwomen Fall to Saints

SCHENECTADY, NY-
Visiting St. Lawrence scored goals in each period as they defeated host Union 4-0 on Friday evening at Messa Rink.
 
Brooke Fernandez scored twice for the Saints and also had two assists. Also scoring for St. Lawrence were Bailey Habscheid and Kayla Sullivan.
 
Kate Gallagher started in goal for Union and made 23 saves. Maxie Weisz got the start for St. Lawrence and had 18 saves. She was relieved by Nikki Bongaerts who made two saves in the third period.
 
St. Lawrence led in total shots 27-20. Union outshot the Saints 10-6 in the final frame.
 
There were no penalties called during the game for either team. This is the second time this season that the Dutchwomen were not whistled for an infraction.
 
Union concludes their season tomorrow afternoon when they host Clarkson at 4 pm on Senior Day.
