SCHENECTADY, NY- The Union Dutchwomen closed their 2010-2011 season on Saturday afternoon as they fell to visiting Clarkson 4-0 on Senior Day.
Juana Baribeau scored twice to lead the Golden Knights. Melissa Waldie had one goal and one assist. Carly Mercer had two assists.
Baribeau scored her first goal on the first shot of the game just 21 seconds into the first period as the Golden Knights got off to the quick 1-0 lead. Clarkson scored in all three periods including a short-handed goal in the third frame.
Kate Gallagher started in goal and made 28 saves. Erica Howe made 20 saves for Clarkson.
Clarkson led in shots 32-20. They were 1-for-5 on the power play while Union was 0-for-5.
The Dutchwomen conclude their season with a final record of 2-29-3 (1-19-2 ECACH).
