GENEVA, NY -- Union saw its four-game winning streak come to an end with a 1-0 loss to William Smith in Liberty League road action. All 10 games this season for Union have been decided by a goal. William Smith, meanwhile, won its 10th-straight match.
The Dutchwomen surrendered an early goal when Brenna Kincaid buried a shot from 35 yards out at the 13:42 mark.
Union, which mustered seven total shots, recorded its best scoring chance at 9:33 into the second half.
Breana Derella launched a shot from the top of the box, but was denied by Heron goalkeeper Chelsea Dunay.

Brian Speck's squad earned a corner with six minutes left in the match, but the ensuring shot was punched away by Dunway, who recorded her sixth shutout of the season.
Allison Brustowicz recorded 11 saves for the Garnet and White, as the Herons finished with a 12-5 advantage in shots on goal.
