SCHENECTADY, NY -- Union scored a season-high four goals en route to a 4-0 win over Elmira in non-conference action at College Park Field. The Dutchwomen are now 9-4-0 overall and have won seven of their last eight contests.

Junior F Mollie Gilchrist recorded a hattrick, scoring three times and taking over team scoring honors with six goals on the season. Gilchrist opened scoring with a shot from 10 yards out at 16:44 of the first half. She then added two more goals in the second half, scored just three minutes apart. Gilchrist's second goal came on a quick restart off an indirect kick, catching the Elmira defense off-guard. Her third tally was a header from inside the box on a cross from Carolina Gorka.

Breana Derella added Union's other goal, scoring from 20 yards out on a direct kick at 37:16 of the first half. Union finished with a dominate advantage in total shots (25-7) as goalkeeper Allison Brustowicz needed just three saves to record her seventh shutout of the season.

Union returns to action next Saturday (Oct. 26), playing host to RIT in the regular season home finale. Start time is 2:00 p.m.
