SCHENECTADY, NY -- Junior forward Caitlin Conlon scored three goals to lead Williams College to a 4-0 field hoceky victory over host Union College at Frank Bailey Field Wednesday night. The Ephs improved to 1-3 while the Dutchwomen now stand 1-5 after this non-league game.

Cary Hairfield scored the other goal for Williams, which had a 20-8 shot advantage. Nina Kumar made seven saves in the Williams net, while Molly McCune made eights stops in the Union goal.

Conlon opened the scoring with s short range shot 1:08 into the contest, the only goal of the first half. At 55:26, she had a shot that trickled through traffic for a 2-0 lead. Hairfield notched her goal at 62:43, with a follow up shot from a corner, and Conlon completed the hat trick at 67:01 with a low angle drive inside the left goal post.

Williams had an 11-4 advantage in corners, and had 10 shots in each half.

Union will make up a game previously postponed by weather. The Dutchwomen will host Drew University Monday at 5 p.m. at Frank Bailey Field.
