ROCHESTER, NY - Junior
Rachel Wyman recorded a match-high in kills in both matches on Friday night as the Dutchwomen swept both Bard and Skidmore on the campus of RIT to improve to 19-7 overall on the season and 4-2 in conference play. Wyman tallied nine kills against Bard before trying her season-high against Skidmore with 15.
Kelley White added eight kills and
Lauren Woods chipped in with seven as Union made quick work of the Raptors 25-19, 25-14, 25-7 in a hour flat..
Amanda Price and
Abigail Salamone both notched double-digit assists as Price tallied 16 helpers to lead both teams and Salamone had 12.
Kat Moeller registered a match-high 10 digs.
In the nightcap, White had eight more kills and
Allison VanDoren tied a season-high with seven of her own to help the Union attack behind Wyman's 15 kills. Price picked up 23 assists and Moeller tied a match-high with 22 digs as Union took care of Skidmore 25-14, 25-18, 25-14 in just over an hour (1:02).
The Dutchwomen will be back at RIT tomorrow afternoon as they play host RIT and Vassar at noon and 2:00 PM.
