ITHACA, N.Y. – After sweeping SUNY-Oneonta to begin the Bomber Invitational, the Dutchwomen kept the momentum going in the second game against host Ithaca. Union used an 11-1 run to close out the 5th set to defeat the Bombers (25-15, 19-25, 27-25, 22-25, 15-6) to improve to 2-0 at the tournament and 5-1 on the season.

Rachel Wyman and Kelley White paced the Dutchwomen attack with eight and seven kills respectively as the Garnet and White took care of the Red Dragons of SUNY Oneonta in three straight sets, winning 25-18, 26-24, 25-21.

Rajpreet Dhaliwal and Lauren Woods also chipped in with six kills apiece. Freshman Abigail Salamone dished out a team-high 10 assists and Kat Moeller racked up seven more digs to lead the "U."

After Ithaca forced a fifth set and got off to a 5-4 lead in the final set, the Dutchwomen closed out the match on an impressive 11-1 run.

White put together an impressive double-double as the junior registered 15 kills and a career-high 29 digs in the victory. Wyman also recorded 15 kills and Dhaliwal had 11 as the other Dutchwomen with double-digit kills.

Amanda Price doled out a match-best 39 assists and Moeller collected 25 digs for Union. The trio of Woods, Dhaliwal and Morgan Clark led the charge upfront as the three of them combined for 19 block assists to help the Dutchwomen pull out the five-set win.
