Volleyball Concludes Bomber Invitational Unbeaten

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Dutchwomen wrapped up the Bomber Invitational with back-to-back 3-0 wins over Cazenovia College and Baptist Bible College to improve to 7-1 overall. The two victories pushed Union's current win streak to five straight matches.

Rachel Wyman posted six kills and 11 service aces to power the Dutchwomen to the 25-11, 25-13, 25-12 win over Cazenovia. Amanda Price handed out 10 assists and her classmate, Kat Moeller, notched 26 digs to lead both teams.

Wyman collected seven more kills along with Allison VanDoren who picked up seven kills of her own as Union handled Baptist Bible College easily in the second match of the day, 25-8, 25-13, 25-10.

Price dished out double-digit helpers for a third straight contest as the sophomore had a team-high 15 assists for the Dutchwomen and Moeller recorded 26 more digs against the Defenders.

Union will look to continue their winning streak next weekend as they host the Union Invitational on Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13.
