SCHENECTADY, NY—Jenni Barra shot 6-for-7 from the floor for a team-high 16 points to lead the Dutchwomen to a 67-28 opening victory over Hartwick on Saturday afternoon.

Natalie Leone followed suit with 13 points and six rebounds, while Amy Fisher finished with 10 points. Union outscored Hartwick in all four periods (15-10, 17-9, 19-7, 16-2).

For Hartwick, Taylor Vonasek scored eight points and had eight rebounds. Carly Johnson also tallied eight points for the Hawks. Jacqui Foreman and Jessica Bellai posted four rebounds each.

The Dutchwomen head to the St. John Fisher tournament where they will take on Wells College and St. John Fisher College on Nov. 28 and Nov. 29, respectively.
