SCOUTING MERRIMACKThe Warriors enter the weekend with a 6-1-4 mark, including victories over Boston University, St. Lawrence and dropping decisions to UNH. Ben Bahe, Brian Christie and Brett Seney lead the team with 10 points each. Bahe has four goals and six assists, as does Christie. Seney has two goals and eight assists. Goaltender Collin Delia has a 1.78 GAA and a save percentage of .928. He made 30 saves against Clarkson on Oct. 16 and stopped 36 against UNH.
Merrimack was 16-18-4 last season but fell in the quarterfinals of the Hockey East Tournament to Boston University, 6-2 and 5-0.
SERIES AGAINST THE WARRIORSMerrimack is 5-9-2 against Union in Union's Division I era since November 1, 1991. The Dutchmen and Warriors have split 2-2-1 in the last five meeting from October 2003 to December 2012. This will be the first meeting between the teams in nearly three years. Last time the two teams met, Union defeated Merrimack 4-1. The Warriors scored first with a power play goal in the second period. Union followed that up with four goals in the third period. Colin Stevens made 20 saves in the game.

Ryan Scarfo leading the team with six goals. Three players lead the team with five assists,

Noah Henry. Scarfo and Pontarelli lead the team with eight points, each.
Mike Vecchione ranks second in points with six (three goals, three assists).
Alex Sakellaropoulos has only allowed 22 goals, and posts a 2.43 goals-against-average and .918 save percentage.
AGAINST HOCKEY EASTThis year Union will take on six Hockey East teams this season. Entering this weekend, the Dutchmen hold a 2-1-1 record against Hockey East opponents. Union will take on UMass on December 11, in Amherst. The Dutchmen will then host Vermont on Dec. 20. They will face Merrimack again on January 2, in the 27th Annual Ledyard Classic at Dartmouth.
