NEW HAVEN, CT- The Union College Dutchwomen were defeated by the Yale Bulldogs, 4-2, on Saturday afternoon to round out the road portion of their 2014-15 schedule.

Jamie Smith found the back of the net for the Dutchwomen.
Yale opened the scoring just 1:12 into the game as Krista Yip-Chuck redirected Kate Martini's shot past
Shenae Lundberg on the Bulldog's first shot on the afternoon.
Union answered early in the second period as Kelly was taken down from behind on the break away. After video review, the referees awarded the freshman a penalty shot. Kelly converted, going top shelf to even the score at 1-1.
Later in the second, Martini beat Lundberg to the far shot of the net to put Yale back in front 2-1 with 13:25 to go in the second stanza.
After the Bulldogs made it 4-1 with two third period goals,
Jamie Smith put one in the back of the cage on the crossing pass from
Jessica Kaminsky with 1:29 remaining.
Bryanne Panchuk added an assist on the goal.
Lundberg finished the afternoon with 34 saves, moving into 24th place all-time in NCAA history with 2,954 career saves.
Union will close out the season next weekend, hosting Colgate and Cornell.
