SCHENECTADY, NY—The Union College men's soccer team opened Liberty League play with a scoreless 0-0 (2OT) game against Hobart College on Saturday afternoon.

John Weitzman made four imperative saves on seven shots to force overtime between the two teams. He also made two extra saves in the second overtime to end the game at a tie. Hobart outshot the Dutchmen 10-3 and led in corner kicks 8-5, but Union led in saves 6-1.
Union returns to the field, as they travel to New Paltz on September 29 at 4pm.
