UTICA, NY - The Union College volleyball team finished a perfect 4-0 weekend at the Utica Tournament with wins over Plattsburgh State and Lasell College.
The first match of the day came against Plattsburgh and 
Emma Sprotbery continued her impressive weekend leading the team in kills with 17 while the Dutchwomen finished with a .319 hitting percentage. The Cardinals had a tough time stopping Union all match as the Dutchwomen won in four sets (25-20, 23-25, 25-14, 25-20).
Union continued that momentum into its next match against Lasell as once again Sprotbery led the team in kills registering nine while 
Morgan Clark was right behind her with six kills. The Dutchwomen rode another impressive .261 hitting percentage to a sweep victory (25-20, 25-15, 25-14) victory over the Lasers.
Ally VanDoren and 
Katherine Moeller were named to the all-tournament team.
The Dutch are back on the court next weekend as they play four Liberty League matches against St. Lawrence, Skidmore, Clarkson and RIT.
