Ally VanDoren tied for a match-high with 18 kills and senior setter
Amanda Price registered 42 assists to lead the Union College volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-18, 25-21, 25-27, 25-22) win against SUNY Poly, Tuesday night at the Viniar Athletic Center.
The Dutchwomen improve to 22-10, while the Wildcats go to 18-11.

Katherine Moeller had a team-high 20 digs and sophomore
Emma Sprotbery chipped in with 14 kills and three digs.
Ryenn Smith led SUNY Poly, registering a double-double with a match-high 22 digs to go along with 18 kills. Melissa Krak added a double-double with 13 kills and 12 digs and Sydney Johnson contributed 40 assists.
The first set was back-and-forth until Union rattled off five straight points to open a 21-16 lead. The Wildcats cut their deficit to four at 22-18, but the Dutchwomen closed out the set with three unanswered points, including two kills by VanDoren.
Union used two 4-0 runs in the second set to pull in front 23-14. SUNY Poly rallied back within three, winning seven of the next eight points to cut their deficit to 24-21, but VanDoren sealed the set with a kill.
The teams traded the lead in the third set with the Wildcats managing to fight off two match points before rattling off three straight points to take the set 27-25.
The fourth set proved to be another even contest. The Dutchwomen won four unanswered points to build some breathing room at 15-11 after back-to-back kills by
Morgan Clark and a Moeller service ace.
The Wildcats fought their way back, using four unanswered points of their own to take an 18-17 lead. Union took advantage of costly SUNY Poly errors late in the set to take a 24-20 lead before securing the match with an assisted block by VanDoren and
Alaina Thaxter.
Union closes out the regular season at the Skidmore Invitational Oct. 28-29. The Dutchwomen open the tournament at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 against SUNY Geneseo.
