SCHENECTADY, NY—The Union College women's lacrosse team defeated Clarkson 8-7 in overtime on Saturday afternoon at Frank Bailey Field. The Dutchwomen won their sixth straight and are 7-2 overall, and remain on top of the Liberty League with a 4-0 record.
The Golden Knights jumped out to an early 3-0 start, before Union tied it up at 3-3.
Jackie Hagopian tallied two goals while
Elena Driscoll posted one. Clarkson recorded two late goals in the first to go up 5-3 at the half.
Clarkson recorded a goal just two miniutes into the second half, but
Maggie Comiskey kept the score close by finding the back of the net. The Golden Knights scored their seventh goal with 16 minutes remaining but the Dutchwomen went on a 3-0 run to force the game to overtime.

Ramsey Walsh each tallied a goal while Comiskey's goal with three seconds left on the clock, sent the game to overtime.
With 49 seconds remaining in the first overtime, Hagopian stepped in and scored the game winner to keep the Dutchwomen undefeated in league play.
The Dutchwomen had 18 groundballs, they also went 13-14 on clears. Hagopian finished with three goals, while
Paige Smith recorded six groundballs. Goalie
Jen Hughes made six saves in the victory.
The Dutchwomen head up to Rochester where they will take on the University of Rochester on April 15 at 4 p.m.
