NORTH ADAMS, MA - After starting the season 3-0, the Union College men's soccer team fell 3-0 against No. 20 UMass-Boston in the MCLA Tournament in North Adams, MA.

The Beacons attack was bolstered by Ocane Williamson who registered a goal and an assist. Williamson found Mohamed Kenawy in the 18th minute to give UMass-Boston the early lead. The Dutchmen tried to answer but, their five shots could not beat Omar Castro-Dreher as the Beacon keeper recorded a shutout.

Union goalkeeper John Weitzman was scored upon for the first time of the season as he had a perfect 274 minutes before the Beacon first half goal. Weitzman made five saves in the lossing effort Saturday.

Also for Union, Ryan Roth, Ethan Strauss and Salvador Lopez Jr. all had a shot on frame. The Dutch are now 3-1-0 on the season.

Union is back on the pitch tomorrow as it plays Johnson State College at 11:00 AM.
