TROY, NY - The Dutchwomen fell to Liberty League competitor RPI this afternoon, 4-0.

Union totaled seven saves on the day, coming off of the Engineers' 16 shots.Â

Despite being shut out, Charlotte Leyland led the Dutchwomen with three shots on net. Katherine Talacci also had two shots.

RPI got the scoring started 15 minutes into play. Mikaela DiBello netted a ball, unassisted. In the 45th minute Megan Jones scored her seventh goal of the season on a DiBello assist. Less than two minutes later, fellow Engineer Christina Hanos had her first of the season to put Union at a 3-0 deficit.Â

With just under 15 minutes to play, RPI's Jane Eddington would score the fourth goal of the day and her first of the season to ultimately solidify the Engineers' 4-0 victory over Union.

Today's match up puts Union at 6-8 overall and 1-5 in Liberty League play. The Dutch return to action this Sunday at 2 p.m. against Vassar College.
