POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – Playing on a cold and rainy field, the Union College women's soccer team lost, 2-0, to Vassar College on Saturday afternoon.

The loss drops Union to 4-3-1 on the season with a 0-2 mark to begin Liberty League play, while Vassar improves to 6-2-2 (2-0-1 LL).

Kelsey Hartsoe had another busy day in net, making nine saves for the Dutchwomen.

Vassar received scoring from Savannah Cutler in the 44th minute and from Sara Seper in the 57th minute. Brewers' keeper Fiona Walsh made five saves for the shutout win.

Union plays in its final nonconference game on Wednesday, taking on Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Albany.
