ITHACA, NY – The Union College men's basketball team fell 83-75 in Liberty League play to Ithaca on Friday night.

Despite shooting 35.1-percent from the floor, the Dutchmen were unable to pace the Bombers' 42.2-percent and dropped to 4-4 (1-2 LL) on the year. Ithaca improves to 8-2 (4-0 LL) with the win.

The Bombers took the lead in the first half and never looked back, as they went into halftime with a 41-33 lead over Union. The Dutchmen battled back in the second half, putting up 42 points, but the Bombers matched the output to never lose their lead.

Ithaca's Riley Thompson led all shooters with 24 points in the contest, and the Bombers had three other's in double digits.

Jackson Mannix led the Dutchmen with 14 points, while
Kevin McNoble and
Greg King were close behind with 12 points each.

Union scored 36 of its points in the paint and 20 off turnovers. Additionally, the Dutchmen recorded 32 of their points from the bench.

The Dutchmen return to the court tomorrow afternoon for a Liberty League contest at Skidmore College. Tip off against the Thoroughbreds is set for 4 p.m. (ET).
