SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- The Union College women's hockey team dropped a 3-1 decision to Penn State on Friday afternoon at Messa Rink. The Dutchwomen drop to 1-4-0 on the season while the Nittany Lions improve to 2-2-1.
Penn State scored twice in the opening period, but Union battled back after the sluggish start. The Dutchwomen scored in the final minute of play thanks to an extra-attacker goal during the power play, but Penn State would score on the empty net afterward to secure the 3-1 win.
