SCHENECTADY, NY -- The Clarkson Golden Knights outlasted the Dutchwomen this afternoon, en route to a 18-10 win on Frank Bailey Field.
Clarkson out shot Union 31-24, and pushed the Dutch to commit 19 turnovers during 60 minutes of play.
Early on, the Dutchwomen and Golden Knights were going back and forth in scoring. With 10 minutes to go in the first half, Union trailed by just four points. However, in the last 10 minutes of the first half, Clarkson managed to pull away to a 13-7 lead.Â
The Dutchwomen netted just three goals during the second half, coming from
Julia Pfohl,
Lindsay Gerrato and
Isabel Bush. Despite the three goals, Union could not match the Golden Knights' offense, as they scored five more second half goals to capitalize on an 18-10 victory.Â

Cailin Pandolfi each had a pair of goals in the first half.Â
Clarkson's Jaid Baytos had an outstanding performance, scoring a game high nine points, off four goals and five assists.Â
Union returns to action next Friday to take on Bard College for its last home game of the regular season.
